HOW TO PLAY
Find the word. Hear the tones.
- Find a free tile. It has no tile resting on it, and its left or right side is open.
- Match word and meaning. Tap a Chinese word and its English meaning. Two tiles of the same kind cannot match.
- Choose a tone for each syllable. 1, 2, 3, 4 or neutral (5). These are dictionary tones.
- Clear the board. Correct pairs fly away. A board with no open pair reshuffles itself.
Practice has no penalties. Challenge has a timer and limited tools. Zen hides the score. Audio is from LiANN's Pinyin Tiles pronunciation pack. Glosses are derived from CC-CEDICT (CC BY-SA 4.0). Noto Sans SC is under the SIL Open Font License.
